About Us

Who are we?

Go Cordless are one of the online divisions of Lords Electrical based in Leicester. We are a family run business trading for over 90 years, and we have 2 showrooms specialising in selling electrical appliances.

We are also an award winning company. Recently we won "Domestic appliance retailer of the year" in a national awards ceremony from trade magazine ERT.

We are also part of Euronics, Europes largest buying group for electrical retailers, so we have great buying power to bring you more competitive prices.

We have been selling vacuum cleaners for years but it is really been the evolution of the Cordless Vacuum cleaner that saw sales rocket for us. It was a passion of ours to get our enthusiasm for cordless vacuums to as many people as possible which is where we came up with the concept for Go Cordless.

We have a great team of guys and gals based at our head office and if you ring for advice it will more than likely that you speak to one of us:


Andrew - My idea for this website so I should go first - It will more than likely be me in some of the product videos as i don't mind standing in front of a camera. Always partial to a bacon sandwich and one of Jon's cups of coffee.

Emma - As young as she looks, Emma has been with us for 17 years and is a whizz with our website. As she keeps chickens at home its eggs a plenty in the workplace.

Irfan - For technical know how on products, Irfan is your go-to guy. A man of family values, Irfan has been a part of our team for over 18 years.

 Jon - "Master of the coffee cup" Jon likes coffee, and there is never a dry throat at our place thanks to Jon. His product knowledge is also second to none, if you have a query on a product then Jon is your man.

Ruth - No Office is complete without a "Ruth", our office manager that is always on hand to answer the phone and handle any queries. Just don't leave any chocolate lying around when Ruth is about, as she is partial to a chunk of Dairy Milk.

It is our job to make sure that any orders you have placed are sent out quickly and if you have any issues we are here to help.
